FAR better. International midfielder vs non-international right back for the centre of the park. Hmmmm decisions (chinny)
In hindsight - probably.
I think we're in for a rough ride now till the end of the season.
The one thing that comforts me is that I reckon Colchester has gone and I would not expect Scunny to catch us. There are then six other sides below us and I would doubt that ALL of them would overtake us now.

Not sure I agree Paul...
McCann whilst I agree is talented, can't tackle, and so wouldn't offer the protection we perhaps need to balance the attacking elements of the midfield.
Then again, his distribution is much, much better, and that is a huge problem with Hassell.
Oh and good to meet you on Saturday!

No he wouldn't He's ****. If we made a profit on him it's the best piece of business in the history of the earth.
Agreed... Don't think we took many points when he played central midfield, especially if he started there.
RE: Agreed... McCann was poor, ok he came up with the odd goal, but he was nearly as slow as Bobby. I'm worried about the mid-field now, Hassell is too slow, Diego is lightweight, and Togwell can't pass, and Howard is **** scared of getting booked. All the earlier talk that Barnsley have the best mid-field in the Championship, with the introduction of De Silva, seems a long way off now. Davey needs to get some class in that department pronto or we will get over run by all teams untill the end of the season.
