.... or doing better than expected with limited funds. our squad put together for less than a million. Doing well, and you'll not see me knock him.
not doing great though considering there's been loads more cash chucked at the team.... this term than last, it's hardly a vast improvement with 11 games to go if your honest is it? (dunno)
how many do you actually know? ok, stand corrected between 1 and 2 million perhaps. that'll buy you one proven championship player normally. there are a few freebies in there.
isnt it something like this?</p> ferenczi - <strike>600k</strike> 200k mostto - 400k odejayi - 200k christenson (its been so long i cant remember how to spell his name) - 300k macken - 100k </p> and thats just the strikers, on top of that you'll have to add foster, de silva, johnson, kozluk, souza, muller, jcr, van homoet and mattis (75k). anymore?</p>
Da Silva was £750, 000, I believe that is the correct amount anyway. Christensen was £300,000. Mostto £400,000, Odejayi £250,000, Ferenczi £200.000, Foster £100,000, Nyatanga will be £500,000, JCR not sure about, Macken Approx £300,000. Lot of money to spend, not a lot of improvement.
Was de silva that much? Thought he was left, but still money well spent. As for the improvement, I think the league is MUCH stronger. The teams struggling at the moment are much better than those who went down last year. Also, theres teams like QPR who are now better etc.
Dunno and I don't know how much Macken cost. Others we paid for: De Silva £750,000 JCR £175,000 Foster £100,000 Muller £400,000 (according to Chron) Dwayne Mattis £100,000 (went up from £50,000 to £100,000 if we stayed up)
