Is Sky broadband any good ? Got Bt at the mo

    I've had it for 6 months and no problems so far ....

    ....... was with Orange before and it's better than that

    Did you have any trouble

    ... switching from Orange, eg. with your mach no or anything? I'm on Orange and thinking of complete switch to Sky broadband to go with my TV in September. Ta.

    No, not at all ..............

    ......... they asked me why I was switching to Sky, I said cos they are cheaper than you and he said fair enough!

    How long did the switch take?

    Heard a lot of bad stories about switching ISP's.

    Couple of weeks maybe three, can't really remember .......

    ....... was all very smooth - rang sky, told them I wanted to switch, they told me to get the mach code from Orange, rang Orange, got the code, gave it to sky, job done, was able to carry on using the internet via orange until sky took it over

    Sky, is shocking tbh, always going down and not as fast as it is supposed to be, i have heard talktalk is the best, but i use to be with blueyonder/virgin/whatever they call it now, they told me i was getting 8mb and when my bro wasnt hogging the speed i was getting the full on 8mb

    No it isn't, not had one problem since I switched .....

    ........ over 6 months ago, so you must be unlucky

    Never had a problem with my connection

    Cheaper, faster and online more than my previous ISP - Eclipse, who were supposedly one of the best providers.

    Took sky 10 days to take my account over from BT + I got a Sky+ box and installation for free. nt n
