    I was checking if the reports of mansford saying stones definitely wasn't playing are true. Nothing to do with Martinez.

    I'd expect one of Stones or Jagielka not to play as they'll want to give the new Argentinean signing a game but you'd think it'd be Jagielka who gets rested with him been in his 30's & a bit injury prone over the years

    Since when did Ben Mansford pick the Everton team?

    I'd hazard a guess that Stones will be rested (by Everton, or on the insistence of Chelsea). I'd also hazard a guess that Holgate could feature, because they will want to rest some players, they have a few injuries, and they want to take a look at him in a competitive game.

    I think none of this has anything to do with Ben Mansford.

    No more than any of the others that ask questions expecting someone on here to have inside information on the club.

    Having information about Everton's team selection next week takes it to a new level though :)

    Why would Everton risk their most saleable asset at lower league cloggers Barnsley?
