    So Even Though.........

tickets have been available for weeks someone is asking if you can get them on the day of the match. Talk about leaving something to the last minute. And yet again our club has messed up with tickets going to waste. I thought the point of not being able to buy on the day was because box office would be shut. With it being open for pre booked pickups, i don't see why they couldn't have tried to sell out ours on the day.

Do you ever stop criticising the club

The idea of not buying on the day of the game is to prevent large numbers of people turning up just before the game trying to buy a ticket when the game could sell out, thereby preventing the possibility of having groups of people outside the ground who don't have tickets.

Also, if they said that any tickets left would be for sale on the day, you'd get people choosing to buy prior to kick off instead and thereby generate large queues!

Also, if you would bother to read the post, you'll see that he thought he was going to be working and therefrore unable to get to the game, and only found out late that he wasn't.

My thinking behind it was it seemed daft that the club were basically saying "we are open on the day of the match but don't want to make some extra cash by trying to sell the remaining tickets".
