Ah yes....sorry about that. I'll remember to describe to you, in detail, the excellent beers on offer next time I've been! I read that it was a "listed building"(!) so probably limited with what alterations he could make - I'm not sure how that applies to wheelchair access with regards to the law.
I think you're right about the buildings status. I'll have to satisfy myself with the new Wetherspoons when that finally opens
