everyone goes on about the magic of the FA Cup. Granted it gives the smaller teams a chance like we did to beat the big guns but when was the last time there was an great final as a showpiece?

Also the two semis this year including our own were a bit dissapointing especially the Pompey game.

I think it will always remain the greatest cup comp in the world. Listen to the foreign players/managers in our leagues that play in it. The final is beamed worldwide.

I think the sem's should be elsewhere but The Fa need their money back.

Millenium for a Semi would be good, maybe both. Traditionals like Vila Park or Old Trafford too, maybe even the Emirates.

If only they could pick Wembley up and move it to the Midlands on the edge of a motorway it would be perfect.

I still prefer the Mill Stadium but only due to getting in/out quicker by transport. You can get out of Wembley quicker by foot though.

I wish we were going back in May and have a few weeks looking forward to the final. I thought Wembley were great to go again
in a short space would have been fantastic. So no.

The Millenium stadium miles better pre and post match being in the centre a minutes walk from loads of pubs and fans kept apart by the river , took ages yesterday to find a pub asked several coppers for directions but did not know or care where barnsley had been allocated

the semis shouldnt be played at Wembley and i would choose the Millenium over the hole in London any day.
But when was the last great final?
i just wonder if it is just tradition that says its great cos i honestly cant remember the last time i actually enjoyed a Cup final

Last great final I reckon was Liverpool v West Ham (year before last??)

Before that I struggle to name ne really but they usually arnt very good due to whats to loose not whats to win.

I asked outside the ground "Can we come in your pub" got told "No full". Oh ok your friendly I thought, got told "go next door". Spoke to the staff their only to be told the pubs in Wembley were charging £15 to get in. Not sure if the cockney fella was blagging me though.
