I was just wondering whether players like Clark, Dagnall & Cofie will be allowed to leave on loan? It's doubtful that anyone will be brought in. Although I'm somewhat concerned that we appear to have no other goalkeeping options if Butland were to pick up an injury. Steele's back injury appears to be no closer to being solved (we don't seem to do quick recoveries from injury at Barnsley) and the manager won't even put Dibble on the bench.
I don't think the keeper getting injured would be a problem though, would it? If necessary we will just sign an emergency loan player like other teams have done. I think the rules allow it, for that position. Yeovil are an example I think
That option is certainly available. Unfortunately, we've rarely had much success over the years when we've walked down that particular avenue, Luke Steele not withstanding. Were the injury to occur during a match, then we usually only have seven outfield players on the bench these days. Perhaps the manager has more faith in Hassell's goalkeeping abilities than Dibble's? It's probably just me worrying about something that isn't really a problem.
