In the west stand at the moment I believe But that is because the club was forced to do it in order to keep their safety licence.
I understand you're right I was always amazed that smoking was allowed in that stand after Bradford. Didn't always go down well, though (not a smoker myself but attended with people that were and received plenty of complaints).
RE: why should i stink of smoke and my kids cover their faces? do you complain about people in pub smoking or when you and your kids are walking round the market and people light up do you say anything-what about when your walking down street past a smoker do u ask him to put it out whilst you pass no i didnt think so so why should football where people have smoked for over a hundred years be any different let em light up
I think a pub is differerent to a family area that is designed for young children to sit in If only one area of the ground is no smoking then it should be the family stand area because not only is it designed to hold children (who to be honest, have no say in where they sit) but it is right at the back of the stand in the corner which is the worst possible place with regards to ventilation.</p>
Must admin it annoyed me today ... smoke driffted straight into my face. Also (none smoking related) the bloke who shouted at Richards for the the entire match to "get into some space".
West stand should be full judging by all the people who want a smoking ban, so feckin' sit there & leave me alone(
