    I went up Darton last night, there was a lot of water, but it wasn't overly bad, then again there's been a lot of rain since half 8 last night.

    although I do admit that being in the lorry and an extra 4 ft higher makes it seem a lot better:cool:

    Dearne has burst its banks on the s bends just before bence lane. Fields are covered not sure what it's like on the village but I'm the residents are on edge after what happened the last time.

    Wasn't taking my new motor thru that. Odd thing was, the worst bits were up the hill from Dodworth.

    dearneall rd closed going down to millers pub, and water just lapping up to front door on post office in darton at 11.30 pm
