I don't think its very safe for the club to be under total control of one man to be honest. People keep saying if he walks we're fecked so maybe something should be done so that he can't just shut up shop if he feels like it?</p>

    Sensible Question.

Not sure about a share option.

Definately to open it up to being split between 2 or 3 owners yes, but not one where it is open to shares and divedends etc, as this will drain any profits that the club do make.

Also, it removes any potential "control freaks" (nothing intended here BTW),

but having "2 or 3" part owners would ensure that some kind of debate and bargaining is required for major decisions.

However, this raises 2 other things....

    1) Would PC actually allow it
    2) who would want to invest in us expecially in the current climate

Could they not issue shares that didn't give out dividends? Something where supporters get a say in the running of the club but without draining profits away.

I think two or three owners would be great but as you say, doubt it would happen in the current climate. I think a share issue could work though but I remember last time it was suggested barry taylor or down rowing simply said no. They said that they'd done a survey or something and it wouldnt work. Not sure who they asked though

    You have to be joking

Just imagine the situation where some on this board had a few quids worth of shares
they would think they owned the club and want to show it.

Unless they are into around a million pounds worth of shares they would have no effect
on the running of the club, anything less would be money down the drain.

wouldn't really be money down the drain though would it?

People would buy shares as gifts etc and its revenue for the club. Now a season ticket with davey in charge, thats money down the drain :D
