Am I correct in remembering he was a target of one the Manchester clubs during his earlier Academy years? Is it just a case of the lad not realizing his junior potential?
    Cheers.

Shame for him but he's been on the fringes of the first team for a very long time now and not really done anything, gone on loan to teams down the football pyramid and not stood out (I gather from the stats).

Happens all the time, you could say RNL hasn't lived up to his billing and Digby has been injured more than he's been fit so he could be another to fade away.

I think Rose could be the real deal though, maybe not Premier League quality but certainly good enough for us.

Think we brought him from Man City didn't we. Looked decent in a couple of friendlies, the one at Rotherham being the stand out one. hasn't done anything when out on loan be all accounts.

Barnsley FC. The club that would rarther bring in 10 bad loan players than give a chance to it's own youth and then release them.

Case in point. Danny Rose. Ignored all year despite us offering nowt up front and is only allowed on the pitch in a meaningless game when it was too late only for him to totally embarrass proswich and pedersen

I am a little. Jacob Mellis once told me that he was the most gifted technical footballer at the club.

If only there was competetive league for 18-20 year olds to play reguraly in, to build their physical and mental strength and develop their understanding of the game. How many players do we discard each year because those opportunities arent there for them? How much further on would RNL, Rose, Digby be if they had an opportunity to play for a full season in a league like that. Why o why cant the FA think of someting? Oh, hang on a minute!

Looked good whenever I saw him.

Danny prefers a Dawson to the type of player Clarke us though.
