is there anybody brave enough to admit that they won't sign the petition?

    I'm brave enough

    I haven't signed it.

Although I believe the FA should come down hard on Chris Morgan, which should include a fine and a lengthy ban, I don't believe a sporting incident should become a criminal matter, so I don't agree with the call to get the police involved.

Not that I have any problem with anyone who set up the petition or anyone who has signed it, I just have a different opinion about the matter. It also appears I'm in the minority, particularly with regards to people who use this BBS.

    I've not

Because I don't agree with the petition. I hope Hume recovers speedily and fully and Morgan gets a significant ban.

I've not signed it as yet.

I think it's better to wait and see what Iain and the club wants to do with the situation.

    I've not signed it

I don't agree with the wording.

I hope Morgan gets a lengthy ban. Shame the petition wasn't written in a more sensible way - would have got a lot more signatures.

I've not as I don't believe in the criminal action

I should like to see the FA grow some balls and ban Morgan for a lengthy period.

They've acted quickly enough over the Drogba incident

and as a lot of people have pointed out - the fans need looking at that incident first. No Drogba shouldn't have done that but it shouldn't have been thrown in the first place and it's not the first time it's happened this year.

Im with Jay on this also if Hume doesnt want to instigate criminal proceedings I think you have to respect his opinion after all he's the one who suffered the injury.

A criminal act deserves criminal action Dave.

Morgan reminded me of Tahn in the late 70s early 80s.

if you are in the Town you're going for a night out and not expecting physical contact. Football ia a physical contact game and although Morgan showed a patent disregard for a fellow professional, went well beyond the bounds of the rules and also acceptable behaviour it should not,in my opinion involve the police.

I'm not against the club or Iain Hume going for restitution through the civil courts though.
