...that we approached that there wouldn't be a howl of protest about. We are not going to agree about the new manager as there must be 25 different preferences on this board. Any appointment is going to be a gamble and I think Robins is a safer bet than most. He is one of maybe half a dozen that could be a breath of fresh air to the club. I can only think of Mick McCarthy that wouldn't raise a single objection and he's out of reach at the moment.
Someone would object to McCarthy... ...someone would be saying 'Never go back' and 'it'll only spoil his legendary status when he fails' etc etc.
Experienced or not? Most of the 'experienced' candidates have something in common? Currently out of work because they've been removed elsewhere. Paul Hart was experienced, Danny wasn't. And Robins is currently doing a good job. Its a lottery whichever way we go, so we may as well all get behind it and support our club and players!
It was always going to be like this. 2 or 3 wins no-one will agive a flying **** who the manager is.... (shithappens)
