Is there something I'm missing because...............

I appear to be a bit slow on the uptake. Now, it is well known that we are in need of another keeper and a striker. However according to Ritchie focus/attention and priorities must be given to the keeper situation. Well,here goes with my lack of understanding. Is it possible that more than one player can be considered at anyone time and, that it is possible to look at a striker and a goal keeper simultaniously? Is it because another keeper might cost us alora lora money or is it a ploy to detract,albiet tempory,from the search from the striker situation and if so for what purpose?.I only wish that Mr. Ritchie would encourage that nice guy shepherd to make these statements and for shepherd to come on board with the facts so,if it does go pear shaped at least attention can be focused on him and not Ritchie who I feel is comming on in leaps and bounds as a manager.

Good point! we need both. However I think AR has clearly missed a few striking targets and generally doesn't talk up transfer activity. I think he was just saying really that we have no cover at all for Nick whereas at least we have a number of strikers at the club.

He seems to keep suggesting that we might get a premeirship striker on lona and that we have until the end of August to do business but we do need a goalie before Cardiff as Nick could get a knock.

We realistically have no cover for Colgan.

We have a number of strikers. Ideally we would prefer another experienced one but I personally think our current strikers may just surprise a few of the doom mongerers on here with the service they get this season.
