Is there such a thing as the Barnsley shade of red?

    Our red colour seems to me to have differed over the years from other clubs playing in red e.g. Man U Rotherham Liverpool

    This may be my imagination.

    But if we have our own "shade" of red, what is it? Does it have a name?

    Not Athersley Red?

    I have looked up cadmium and you may be right.

    Some may say Athersley red is the colour of blood.
