surely to god there's better players than him on the market! I'd rather have KO at least he tries his best in every game from what ive heard he's a waste of time and doesn't give 100%, do we really need another player like this??

Last time at Oakwell when Coventry beat us 4-1....he

won absolutely everything in the air and we couldnt get near him, scored their second. So when he comes to us he will be a cart horse and *****. Guarenteed.

Davey doesn't mind signing a loose cannon

    He just won't play them.

His goal scoring record is rather poor. Not the striker we want to sign.

RE: Davey doesn't mind signing a loose cannon

How come nearly every player we are linked with seems to have a temperament problem. When davey is the most consistent manager I have ever known for not giving a look in to any player who does not seem 100% committed and on the straight and narrow. Why do we keep getting linked to players who have been in loads of trouble?

i'd rather have him up front bullying other defenders, creating chances for macken, who im sure would love another front player like kyle (IF we are after him)

    Agreed

In the abscence of Kevin Phillips lets have a right nasty **** that get his elbows up. Think Macken & Hume would get far more chances with someone of his ilk in the team.

Think he's a crap footballer like, but the best team doesn't always have 11 great footballers in it.

I'd rather we got someone in on loan, instead of splashing out another 700k on someone who we're going to end up playing in the reserves because Davey can't controll him, and then letting him go on a free in 1/2 years time to some club in league 2. On the other hand he might start scoring and then we wont be able to sign him because Coventry recall him and wont sell. Doubt that will happen though.
