Given some of the utter idiots aged between eighteen and twenty three I deal with on a day to day basis I suspect it wouldn't make a jolt of difference to the standard of learning.
And I have only been at work two hours.

I am expecting a jolly nice museum which will be used for child education for the Boroughs kids.

    Bring it on.

If anyone needed an explanation as to why Barnsley struggles to shake off its image of being ******ed and out of step with modern thinking, see the post above. No wonder so many of the brightest students move out in their adult life. It's a real shame that backwards attitudes like this prevent what is overall a great place with brilliant people from doing anything remotely pioneering or forward thinking.

They've just opened the Liverpool life museum and it's brill - very interesting learning about its history. It's good to see what helped shaped the place you live

You make a very good point. Education is only half the battle, if the kids are let down by their parents then the problems begin.

You can take a horse to water but you cannot make it drink. Its only basic contract stuff and its like trying to nail sloppy **** to the wall.
