...within the rules of the game ?

Wellbeck scores while preventing Gray from moving.

Yes if you play for Man Utd if had been one of ours who did that - immediate foul and probably a yellow card.

Anderson got booked for fouling the keeper by running into him. Macheda kicked out at Steele - nowt given.

If the roles had been reversed

Gray doing the pulling in the box in order to defend would have been a stone wall Penalty. So they would have been one up anyway, ( The rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer )

RE: if gray had jumped in the 1st place, he wouldn't have been held down. nt

Pardon? Maybe he couldnt jump because he was being held down! He's got the top, bottom and middle of his shirt screwed up in his fist there the cheating ****. They certainly teach these young players how to cheat well these days. We've see worse refs than last night without doubt, but the little things like that, also when Halfredssons shorts were nearly ripped off in the centre circle and... when Raphael and Wellbeck both went down like a sniper had picked them off in front of the East Stand. All little things that seemed to keep being missed. Not sure if it was the refs fault now or whether these lads are just very good cheats. Reminded me a lot of the Premiership season last night with stuff like that. I'll settle for just missing out on the playoffs this season and get on some good blood pressure tablets for promotion the season after :D

My agent says 'hear hear' to that bit about the prem season. What's worse is that pic was in the Times without the least comment about the shirt grabbing !

Man Utd Got Away With That

If it had been correctly disallowed we wouldn't have been on the back foot so early.

and if the ref had given the clear foul in front of the east stand on the halfway line they wouldn't have gone straight down the other end and got the second.

Up there with willard for me

yes its allowed reguarly at every level of football, you have to exploit **** refs who are giving in your favour, otherwise you get nothing and are left moaning, protesting feeling hard done by, we didnt take our chances thats what ultimately cost us

I must admit its a big surprise playing a natural winger like Julian Gray at full back, its not his position.
