MORE THAN 27,000 HIT THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE THROUGH SEPTEMBER THE latest figures from Football League Interactive are in and the Official Barnsley FC Website attracted more than 27,000 unique visitors through September 2005. We reached out to 27,421 unique users during September as Andy Ritchie's side looked to consolidate their league position - that's almost 1,000 different people reading this site every single day through the course of the month and a lot of potential advertisers for your business. So by sponsoring or advertising on this site you could get your message across to tens of thousands of Barnsley FC supporters every single month. We also have almost 15,500 unique registrants exclusive to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk.
Over 27,000 unique users It's absolutely outstanding. If you think that we've never had that many Barnsley fans in oakwell since what, the early 60s, then you've got to conclude it's incredible. We only get between 7 and 8 thousand Barnsley fans to games, but more than 3 and a half times that many visit the official site every month. And as only about half the country have access to the internet, it's even more fantastic. Amazing.
RE: Over 27,000 unique users wonder who they all are! the club have a good chance to take advanted of advertising there thn
if the club can prove they have 27,000 registered users -which is a requireemnt to read the articles i will show my arse on the townhall steps!
even then let's not forget all those that have registered more than once or registered and havent viewed it since. I alone have got about 5 accounts which i havent used since last century</p>
just read this bit We also have almost 15,500 unique registrants exclusive to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk So i bet my calcs were not far off. 27000 is a bit of an overstated figure of unique people!
The more money he can get for the club through advertising the better And he's just using the statistics available. It's 27,000 unique IP addresses I would think. My IP address is never the same so i guess I account for a fair few of those 27,000. But if I was trying to bring money in to the club I'd use those stats. Maybe not in the same way, but still.
they are playing on words but its false if you ask me depends how you class a unique user. To give credit they did put how many people are registered but i bet a lot of those are inactive.
