Didn't he play for Manchester City?

I seem to remember him getting a bit upset with one or two decisions and drilling the ball into the brewery stand as a result....

He'd left them by then, I think Jimmy Nichol was in charge. Very strange match. Seem to remember him playing for them against us though, right at the end of his career when they came to the Well and beat us 2-0. We were toss.
