Is this me now firmly entrenched in the doom-mongers camp?

Either side of our thrashing by Reading, they were held by second from bottom club Donny and were humbled by Posh who prior to last night's result were below us in the league.
For the record I actually think we'll get a couple of goals on saturday, whether they will be enough ???

With 5 goals in 10 games since transfer window shut and only 1 scored in 5 this month I cant see where a couple of goals are going to come from. Maybe a Davies 20 yarder or a bit of magic from Done.

My thinking is that due to their apparent gung ho approach to games, perhaps gaps in their defence will appear rather than being directly created by us. Therefore, a shoot on site policy ala Butterfield, instead of trying to walk it in might bear fruit as it were.

Aye it could be a case of who has the worst defence because on paper we`re pretty similar.

Only Davies seems to have the confidence to shoot on sight, the rest are too nervous to even try. Daft really, when Danny Rose had a pop from 40 yard on Saturday, the crowd really responded to it and got behind him. I wonder if the crowd would be the same if it was one of Keith Hills 'lower league tripe' players though?

If he was making his debut, then yes. After 2 or 3 games Rose and the 'lower league tripe' would get the same reaction.

I said the same thing to my brother in law. Done would have been crucified for that.

Crowd wouldn't have a go at any player being positive and trying to score or create

Fact is we don't shoot often enough when the opportunity is there. We need playeys to try and take the game by the scruff of the neck and make things happen. A player who will Chase lost causes and force a mistake by their opponent. It doesn't happen nearly often enough.

It does when Perkins is fit. Apparently that makes him an average player who only runs about and does nowt for the team. Go figure.

I seem to detect a feeling that you dislike fellow BFC fans!

They are allowed their opinions just like you, but when someone you disagree with posts, that means they are a moaner and when you post you are a realist. Strange that, when all you have is differing opinions!!!!
