6 ft 1 so could be. My initial thought was he's in because we're struggling with the Hemmings deal.

Think he plays out wide too.

He looks lanky so he could be.

As redarmychris says, based on the you tube videos he appears to play on the left of a front 3. So he'd fit in nicely to our 4-3-3.

He's a striker. Man City don't spend millions developing a lad whose attributes are limited to those of a "target man"

So clubs at the top end of the game dont need strikers they can hit for the to hold it up? City have spent millions on Dzeko and Negredo, both are target men. Chelsea have spent millions of Costa and Drogba (the first time) both are target men, Giroud - Target man, Lewandowski - target man.. Could go on and on but you obviously arent up to track with football

Nobody said he was 'just' a target man. If he can hold the ball up and win a few headers than he qualifies as just that.

There seems to be a stigma attached to 'target men' at the minute. It's now looked down upon to have a big guy up front

ah right i get it now you've so eloquently explained it all... premiership strikers who cost multi millions of pounds are limited to the role of target man and are incapable of displaying other skills or playing in other ways.....

come back andy gray theres a career still out there for you

Simply by asking if he's a target man doesn't limit him to be a lump.
Nobody said his only attribute is to hold the ball up.
Target men can also be great finishers and passers, they're not mutually exclusive, it's just an extra attribute.

pretty excited by this signing... looks like he has a good eye for goal & as his dad is Andy Cole you'd expect him to be a good all round striker
