Season tickets have Thursday, Friday and Sunday next week to get Wembley tickets from east stand turnstiles.
I know wonder if we have to pay in £SD? or florins & guineas. If you apply by post too soon do you think they'll ignore it? Thinking of getting Mr Ali to drop the postal application in next week
Its right at the bottom of article on site about cash only on turnstyles. I had to look twice bcos i thought that was another clanger dropped!! Should be listed with ticket info at top if you ask me!
madness.......... so cash only............... 30000 tickets over 4 days, means avarage daily sales of 7500 tickets at an average price of £40, means average daily sales of £300,000. In cash! Are they crazy or what? Have they taken appropriate security measures? Anyone thought about how they are going to store that amount, have they organised Securicor(or whoever) for about 4 times a day?
It says "Supporters must pay cash on the turnstiles. Supporters cannot pick their individual seats on the turnstiles and are only able to select the price band." before it sales no details for general sale.
RE: I know Just been to ground they will not accept postal applications delivered in person to ground, only those actually via the posty. Also said they expect all requests to be recorded delivery so you have proof of posting.
they cannot be serious............................ if someone chooses to send it ordinary first class that is their right-the club can't refuse to process it just because it's not been sent recorded-it would be sensible to do so because there is a cheque inside for possibly £220 or more if say a family with 3 books got all their tickets.
and furthermore............... if I choose to go down to the ground and post an application in the post box will they refuse to process it? bonkers-just have a box on the counter of the box office -sorted
Told me they wont accept them in person because they dont want 7000 people turning up to hand letters in, but then they want them sent recorded delivery so want to sign for 7000 letters. Someone will have writers cramp.
