    Says it all doesnt it when our fitness coach is turning out for us because we've not got any players

    Fitness coach at right back and two strikers in midfield. What a balanced squad we've got mr davey...

    We have a choice of 2 first team right backs, plus Foster who can play there, and 2 left backs, even though one of those is the same player :D

    Why risk one of the first team lads in a closed doors reserve level practice match? Sounds like sound management to me.

    And no-one knows who we are going to sign before the season starts.

    Still, as you know only too well "No news is bad news" in football.

    if your not going to play the players who are classed as first teamers why have a behind closed doors friendly whats the point unless your looking at new players is there photos of jamil adam on barnsley one ?

    Maybe it was to give match practice to people returning from injury like Humey and Coulson, plus some experience for some of the younger players. Don't know really, just surmising.

    it did say due to "a late withdrawal" so every other player will have been doing other training,
    and then be in need of planned recuperation.

    if there was anyone else who could play instead of fitness coach - then we should be even more concerned, as it means they would have done hardly any training that day.
    of course there are subs but, these are planned too - planned to have a lighter day if they are indeed scheduled to appear as only a sub.

    is it really worth arguing about?

    We have to trust the manager.
