    I remember someone got knocked down last year or year before on his birthday after having been to a barnsley match (i think). Seem to remember his relative posting on here about it</p>

    I think you're right

    Now that you mention it I do seem to recall it was chelsea because it was mentioned about how he'd seen us beat them

    Yeah i think it was but maybe this says more about the appalling standard of driving some taxi's seem to think is acceptable rather than driving for a long period of time.

    Gary had been in town celebrating his 18th birthday,and the Tykes win against Chelsea. He lived in Wilthorpe and was returning home in the early hours when he was knocked down and killed by a taxi in Huddersfield Road,Wilthorpe,at the junction with Wilthorpe Avenue and Rowland Road.He was only about 50 yards from his home. Tragic.
