Is umbrage, like revenge, a dish best served cold?

Just found this on http://bfcbbs.blogspot.co.uk/

Me from 7 years ago finds that quite uncalled for. Is it too late to take umbrage? Is there some statute of limitations?

 

Did we ever find out who wrote that blog?

 

I have signatures turned off, am I missing anything interesting? I find them pretty pointless tbh, they just take up screen space meaning more scrolling, don't want to put my finger through the strain.
