Seen that he has a contract pending...

Duff might see that he can do something with him...

His level on paper is clearly higher than league 1....

 

He hasn't been offered a contract. He's been retained as he's already under contract. Could definitely do a job for us at league one level. I would back Duff 100% at getting him up to standard.

 

Am sure Duff will give him a chance again, but if the attitude, effort or whatever was missing in the summer is still missing, he'll soon be out in the cold again.

 

Not going to happen. He didn't want to be here and Duff clearly didn't like his attitude.
He'll be loaned out again next season and won't ever play for us again.

I’m in the ‘won’t ever kick a ball’ for us again camp. I suspect Duff saw him as a disruptive influence on squad moral. It would explain why we loaned out a player last year who on paper was the best striker option we had.

Will be difficult / expensive with him still having 2 years left. But is needed.

 

Duff wanted rid last summer and the best we could do was a loan. He hasn't got a contract pending, he's still under contract. Presumably to be transfer listed.

He was. But Conway gave him a 4 year deal, so we're stuck with him for another two years unless we can pay him off and/or find someone willing to buy him.

Is Iseka on a 4 year deal?? Ouch. He's clearly got talent but it doesn't look like he's going to do anything here.

If we can't sell him I hope he does come back in and smash it for us. If he buys into Duff and tries hard he could do well

Can’t see Iseka being a Duff player to be honest but he’s better, ability wise, than we have at the club, maybe Norwood aside - and if he comes into preseason with the right attitude I’d give him a go.

But I doubt he will come into preseason with the right attitude - if he even comes back at all.

 

Didn't he claim to not be able to understand instructions so the club hired a translator to call his bluff and he was still a waster?

 

I think I remember hearing something along those lines. He isn't going to play for us again, the sooner an agreement is reached with him the better.

 

Not being funny but what are you basing " he"s better ability wise than we have at the club " on ? , to me he had a couple of good cameo appearances against Sheff U & someone else & that was that , he did nothing for us & did not do well in his subsequent loan spell so I am not sure how his ability can be judged , if he has the ability you are suggesting then surely clubs will be interested in signing him & we should get rid but somehow I do not think that will happen.
