Not impressed with this lad at all so far. He's missed 3 or 4 absolute sitters already. Just like Kiwomya he has made barely any impact after being massively over-hyped. Talent wise Hammill is streets and streets ahead.
He's nowhere near the finished article but, that's why he's here. We are making desperate loan signings & prem clubs loan players like Isgrove/Toney out to gain experience
Thought he did fairly well last night and looked threatening at times. Finishing will come together with match fitness imo.
least he is getting into position to score, that will come, IMHO could end up being tidy little player
He's been alright so far, obviously finishing needs work, a lot of it but he's creating chances and getting into positions.
Imagine he had took all his sitters, we would be raving about him being on 4 or 5 goals by now. Just needs to get his first then a few will follow
He's certainly got more about him than Kiwomya, who wasn't even that quick to say it was apparently his main attribute. Like Harris though he seems to be good on the ball but can't finish/cross/pass for toffee. Hopefully that will change.
Can't be easy joining a team so low on confidence. Now we've got a win under our belts we might see a much better Isgrove. Wednesday fans only had good things to say about him.
Over-hyped by who? Most of us saw him as another inexperienced loan kid and had little expectation from him. I would expect Hammill to be streets ahead of someone just starting out in the professional game. A fairer assessment would be to wait until Isgrove is 27 and compare him to Hammill now.
I thought yesterday he put a lot of effort in and was unlucky for a loan young player in a struggling team, I think he deserves some credit. Sent from my Hudl HT7S3 using Tapatalk
