He's come off the bench in every single pre-season game, played a few half hours and one full half. Today though from what I can see in their game against Bilbao he wasn't even in the squad as he isn't on the list of subs and he wasn't on the unused subs list either. Make of that what you will but he's been in every other squad and played. Possibly a slight injury? Who knows. Personally i'm taking it as a sign he's flown back to Manchester, got a cab here, rang Hecky to tell him he's joining and to put the kettle on. But that's just me.
