Who's coming over to this glorious little Island then?
I'm a Barnsley boy myself who somehow got stuck over here a long time ago. But when they come over on June 15th I will be cheering the lads on.
Thing is, I cant seem to find a Barnsley flag to buy, are they hidden away or something.
Furthermore, as I can't get to games often, any simple songs you can let me know of :)

    Cheers

    Stranded Tyke

    Are you sailing from Heysham?

I thought about going but I believe it'll cost a mortgage to take the 'bus over!!

Never tried it, or heard of it.

Most Manx-bound traffic I've known of has been two wheeled and the vehicle was going across too!

There is a train to Heysham port from Lancaster.

    Haven't decided yet

I was going to see if any ferries go from Rosyth.

All depends on cheapness, and if my hand is mended by then!

    Haha!

My parents went from there to Germany last week, pretty cheap too, the bike went for free.

To be honest, I just wanna go round the TT course, and say I survived it :pff

Bit of Travel Info for you all

For all those wanting to come over and don't know about travel Info.

    http://www.steampacket.com
With sailings from Liverpool and Heysham.
On foot from Heysham, from £20 (4 Hour Journey)
On foot from Liverpool, from £30 (2 and a half hour Journey)
    (Return)

Taking your vehicle over is a bit costly, expect £150 ish to do that. (cheaper from Heysham though)

    Aeroplane...
    Rather expensive!!!
Can be between, £50-100 booking at this time per person.
Although on Euromanx website http://www.euromanx.com the cheapest I got was £78

I recomend, training it to Liverpool myself, catching the boat, and then using the public transport over here which is 10x cleaner than the S.Yorkshire lot :p and is rather frequent.

    Except for Sundays though.

Alternatively you could rent a car...if you want more information on this over here, let me know and i'll get you the info.

And BarnsleyFC_Fan....see if you can beat John McGuinesses average speed of 129Mph around the TT Course :D

All I can do is try, plus I'm a good lad and stick to speed limits :D
