Didnt go as I had other things on. But apart from the odd nice story wasn't sure I would attend anyway after the last 2. Especially as it came to light about the lie I was told. Started to think it was a meeting to appease some fans but didn't appreciate being told one thing which turned out the complete opposite. Anyway hope you guys that went managed to get a decent meeting. And you still got a beer
I couldn't make it either, I wanted to go but wasn't gonna start changing shifts or finishing early. No doubt they will be told how stones wanted to go and BFC had no choice
theres a difference between wanting to go to a club which has made an offer and stamping your feet and demanding a move. I very much doubt if Barnsley had decided not to sell stones he would have sulked and refused to play. Im sure he would have been professional enough to knuckle down and earn himself a move in the summer. Dont tell me BFC had no choice
Is that the right thing to do? Deprive the lad of a potentially once in a lifetime opportunity? If we go down it'll have f.ck all to do with us selling Stones.
Yes in my opinion it is. That's why players sign contracts, if they don't want to stay for the duration of the contract then don't sign. Simple as that
hmmm, I think it would be a contributing factor, not the only reason obviously but definitely didn't help.
another productive meeting that will ultimately end up with nothing changing again I imagine. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
