By luton according to Sky Sports. Also would we consider Sonny Bradley? Always thought of him as a decent player.
Derby already talking to Bradley apparently. But he'd be the type of signing that we should be looking at, assuming we sell Andersen. Not sure what his wage demands would be, pretty sure Derby have a cap to what they're allowed to offer.
Isteds wages would have been reduced whilst on loan to us, so I don’t think we can afford Isteds full wages while Collins is on the books, paying for 2 first team keepers seems wasteful for our budget. For me Collin’s has to go first if we want Isted, but I’m not sure who’s going to buy Collins while someone like Isted is available for free. Collins is an excellent keeper, nobody would have dropped him when he got injured
Bradley and Isted would be 2 great signings to start the summer with' as much as we're all praying for Mads to stay i just can't see it' a championship side will be in for him and i don't think the club or the fans would want to hold him back.
How to people know we can't afford Isted's wages? All I know is that Walton was on 'significantly more' at Barnsley than Isted was at Luton.
The club will know if there's been any interest in Collins, and if so, will be unlikely to be holding out for a significant fee, and will be looking to bring a keeper on a free.
I hoped we had something lined up with Isted and we may still have if not Monday could have been the nail in the coffin for that I'm afraid.
Id imagine so. I also don’t think Collins would want to stay if Isted was due to arrive either, he’s good enough for the Championship imo, so his agent would be looking elsewhere. Both keepers seem to be mates so I’m sure he knows what’s happening. If Collins goes that’s 2 keepers we need.
Hooe am wrong but I don't think isteds performances will have gone unnoticed. Maybe a championship club may come for him
From Doug O'Kane's Twitters... "Harry Isted released by Luton. He told me last week he wants to come to Barnsley. Negotiations still to be done, and Brad Collins’ future also unclear."
