    Always liked Stan, but if you think the Hungarian 2nd tier is quality wise any higher than League Two then you need your head read. Bearing in mind that most Russian Premier sides outside the top 6 would struggle to stay up in The Championship, I can only imagine what the general standard in in Hungary.

    Been saying all season that we missed him, yes he had a poor season the year before but we let him go and brought no one in of the same ilk. 29 goals in 19 appearances this season is a very good return even at that level. If he had played as many games as Macken id have backed Stan to have scored more goals.

    I'm amazed he's still spoken about. Anyone would think he was in the Hendrie, Wilkinson and Ward league when it comes to strikers.

    He is still spoken about because he always gave 100%,struggled towards the end after his injury but still played with passion and always did his best,and the reason we stopped up in Daveys first season,showed others in the side how it should be done.

    After the tactics and partnership up front were changed to a style that didn't suit him at all. Davey made an excellent player look crap just like he has done with Campbell Ryce
