Impact player think he likes Disco and Togwell to come on as fresh legs when we're closin the game out/chasing. Burnley are a physical side, Johnson prob there to put a foot in. disappointed that Istvan still out, how many games has Mostto got before the Ponty voice their assessment?
RE: Impact player The Ponty spoke after 10 minutes. The amoebas near me want him on the next plane to Peruvialand.
Lack of return from da strikers is concerning as has been pointed out by Coachman's nemesis.

I'd take 20 dour one nil wins who needs a 20 goal a season striker when you can get a free kick blasty from thi'ty yards and break the keepers wrist fort tap in. is anyone moaning about the quality of football still? "we should be beating sides like Burnley" etc?
RE: Suspended nt Okay. Is is Istvan's hip or summat that's not reight. Surely he'll need an operation before long. Hope that Mostto and Odejayi can find some form before long
RE: I'd take 20 dour one nil wins I think we are playing pretty well at the moment, back to what we looked capable of pre-season.
I have no idea why we started the season playing the football we did, the better stuff did coincide with the arrival of de silva in the middle of the park though and Johnson in the stand.
20 dour 1-0 wins sounds great , if thats the limit of our ambition though I can imagine you having another go about fans not coming to games now we are winning everytime.

I'd be surprised if Johnson was in Been totally overlooked for the last month or so and look at the results, compared to when he was in the side. I'd prefer Devaney, and McCann in the middle. Then again, the balance could be upset by playing with two wingers.
RE: I'd be surprised if Johnson was in And playing somewhat who has looked very slow and lightweight in the middle.
Thing is we were playing great football in the first few weeks of last season and attendances were still poor, we're playing good football this season and winning and attendances are still poor. The reality is we're not going to get 15k a week unless we're top 3 or 4 come January and have spanked the Wendies 4 nil. and even then one defeat and the part timers will sulk back to Sky Sports. to the loyal 6 thousand, a wins a win. its about walking up Grove St knowing the league table is worth a look.
RE: Thing is I'd be amazed if we got 15K hom fans for any games other than Wednesday n Sheff U at home.
Not going is a very hard habit to break , its easier to stay away and say "they are ****" and "they dont want to go up".
Hopefully once the "consolidation" process has concluded more fans will comeback.
I however think they could miss out as I reckon we can get at least the top 6 this season as long as we keep believing and trying to play football.

Anyone who's been to the last 6 games will be thinking the same, I've seen the Promo season dvd probably a hundred times and without getting carried away after 10 games, we're scoring goals this season that wouldnt look out of place. anyone not bothering might be watching a dvd of this season wishing if only I could have been arsed.....
Same can be said of that season. I remember Oxford at home with less than 6k in the ground. Does not help though when the Blunts reduce prices to £10 and get over 26k. I'm sure one off low cost matches would get people in. Try Hull or Blackpool to start with
