It appears some people think we played well yesterday.

    What game were they watching.

Our defending was appalling , our passing was poor and we created next to nothing.

Poor old Radzji couldnt get in the game , got clapped off , however I suspect if Hayes/Richards/Nardiello had contributed nothing but a miss of an open goal they would have got booed off.

Istvan scored a nice goal , its a shame Devaney only put one cross in the right place from lots of opportunities.

10 mins after HT we had a couple of nice moves

Culminating in the miss by Pete.

We never looked likely again after that.

Howard had a very poor game for me , in fact the entire midfield had one of those days.

RE: 10 mins after HT we had a couple of nice moves

First half we gifted Norwich three goals and never got started.

Second half, especially the first 10-15 minutes Noriwhc never knew how to cope with us. If we had decent winger who could take people on we would have had more.

    i thought it was entertaining

some good play both sides, thought we were a bit unlucky overall, it was poor defending that let us down................again, agree re Pete, never got into the game, thought the pair of em often stood too close to each other, to the extent that on occasions they seemed to get in each others way, but very impressed with ivan and it was a super goal

    Where was the standing ovation?

I thought it was more of a resigned "at least we didnt let anymore in" kind of noise from the Ponty End.

    Howard

will never be as influential playing on the left, he is not a winger and IMO we are making him more likely to leave by playing our best player out of position. I understand why he is playing out there because Togwell is consistent and McCann has improved, but when Howard plays there he can create far more chances and lead the attack.
