Man Utd and Roma were already qualified in 1st and 2nd place respectively, so nowt to play for...can't blame them really.

And Man Utd play Liverpool at the weekend which is a far bigger game.

How do you jump to that conclusion

I was referring to the fact that the Roma fans didn't turn out for the game. Sorry if you took that to mean it was ok for someone to get stabbed!

P.s. Reading again what I posted last night - I can see where the confusion arose, hmmm, sorry about that, it wasn't my intention.

Shocking regarding the stabbing, every year foreign teams get away with murder, literally.

At the end of the day a group of fans went to an area they where told not to go and where involved in a fight.

Whether the fans went there for that reason I can only presume.

Every Man Ure fan who went was given a leaflet with there ticket basically advising if they went to the bridge they would be trouble as that’s where the Ultra’s meet up. I have friends who went and with their ticket they was a sheet telling them where to avoid.

So presumably they went to the bridge for one reason.

Stabbing is shocking and why it has to be done but surely they expected some sort of hostility if as Italian fans are known to stab ass cheeks as it’s a trademark of an Ultra.

No idea how in a proper civilised country like Italy this is allowed to continue.

Just like when you Go to San Antonio in Ibiza cops seem unable to stop the African locals standing around in big groups selling drugs and whatever else they do to earn a living there. Cops seem to take it that’s what they do and hardly ever get involved.

Its quite simple....the Police over there are bent and under Ultras control

The police in Italy and Spain are paid the same as street cleaners. And half the Italian ones are bent- why do you think all the arrests were Mancs? They all paid by (or infiltrated by) the Ultras, they wouldn't dare arrest any of them. Even those not being paid don't get involved.

Italy is corrupt from top to bottom, and the Ultras run the show. Violence, drugs, stolen goods, politics, you name it they're involved.

    And...

they're going to be hosting the 2009 Champions League final.

    Nice.

UEFA should pull their collective f*ckin fingers out and ban the miserable Iteye scumbags.

A friend at work had his bag stolen by a cop in Rome not long ago.

He went to the station to report someone took his bag from a restaurant and was amazed to see the bloke who did a runner with it walk into the station with his bag and a cop uniform on. The cop denied it and nothing was done. The bloke in the embassy where he had to go for papers to get home said he’s known it happen too many times.

    Agree there all bent.
