The Classic Rock Society has announced that It Bites will be playing for the CRS in Rotherham on 2 December. The band has all original members with the exception of Francis Dunnery, who is now living in the USA and busy with his own projects. Dunnery is replaced by CRS guitarist of the year 2005 - John Mitchell. I'm just too exited.
RE: rather poke needles in my eyes If you want to damage your eyesight, there are more pleasant ways. I gather you are not a fan - shame.
Went last year to watch Kino.It was the same line up as the new it bites. They did 2 It Bites numbers and sounded great.Personally i think they should use a new name.As good as John Mitchell is it isnt It bites without Frank Dunnery.A bit like Barnsley without Nicky Wroe.
It's true. It Bites has replaced Kino for the gig on 2 December and only one member of the band has changed. You are right, it will not be the same, but Dunnery is busy doing other things and with three members of the original line-up, at least they are not merely a covers band. It is nice to hear from a fellow Classic Rock fan. I thought that I was alone in the BBS desert.
