If the ticket office doesn't open during the hours you can get there.</p> 9-5, no Sundays. If BFC didn't have a captive audience it would fold.</p>
If ever the club were to fold it would have been around 1984 85,crowds at Oakwell pre strike ave were 12000 after they were down to 6000. The club did nowt to help miners or the uemployed then and it took years to tempt many back. In fact crowds didnt go up much until the premiership and have steadily dclined since. So I dont think something like the ticket fiasco over the past few weeks will make any longterm difference. But saying that ,,heads must roll.
RE: Online ticketing "Why oh why oh why does the club insist on people having a computer/credit card to purchase tickets online. I want to pay cash." Yours, Benefits Dependant.
RE: Online ticketing Benefit's dependent? What are you trying to say there? Stereotyping Barnsley fans eh? What a knob you are.</p>
Fact is And it is a fact, that the club's current mode of sales is out-dated and takes no account of peoples commitments other than managing to get to Oakwell between 9 and 5pm.</p> Season ticket holders have a Patron Code. WTF is the problem of closing down the porn site, logging onto RobKnowles.com and entering said Code to reserve your seat ?</p> If Mr Idle Jack esq has the time to wander up Grove Street and queue and pay cash then brilliant.</p> Barnsley Football Clubs off field day to day management needs a complete and utter revamp. </p>
Some peoplle dunt trust the plastic card , remember Luton Town in the 80s ,members only. Then Thatcher were going to do the same nationally until Hillsborough made her rethink. How fars big brother going
I'm on about using the information that the club has on file to reserve your own seat for cup games etc.</p> </p>
It's the information you give when you buy a ST. So it's not new information. They give you a Patron Code in your ST book and that's what you use to reserve your seat, you don't give any new personal details or anything.
I know this may come as a surprise to some people but in order to be able to buy online you don't have to remove other ways to buy as well, it is possible to have more than one option available.</p> in this day and age you should be able to buy online, by phone, by post AND in person (and i don't just mean 9-5 either)</p> you should be able to buy using cash or credit/debit card too</p>
I wouldnt like to think BFC had any of my personal details anyway, after the ticket fiasco ,how far would you trust em.
