Flitcroft is the third favorite to get the job. I'd really be pushed off the edge if he got it, he's basically Keith but with even less credentials. If he wasn't worse then we would have appointed him as manager and Keith as assistant back in 2011.

flitcroft should have been in the same car as hill going back over the M62,if he had no say in the recent running of the team what were we employing him for.

i totally agree. We dont want flitcroft. We need a new man to motivate the players, buy new ones or loanees, someone who can help our league position.

Though I tend to agree with those that dont see how Flitcroft will be any different to Hill I could mention Danny Wilson and Andy Ritchie as the last 2 managers to get us promoted both were promoted to the managers position from number 2
Doesnt mean I think Flitcroft will do the same

Hopefully he can get us something out of the Peterborough game. It's going to be a struggle though because the players won't feel like they need to prove anything to him like they will when we get someone who isn't an idiot's assistant in. It's a 3 points we really need at an awkward time...

Just about to say the same thing FR. He's very unlikely to get the job or be retained by the next manager but let's not write him off as deadwood before a ball has even been kicked.
