I'm trying to install i-pod software onto my work laptop this morning. It worked fine on a home PC but each time it starts to fire up the CD to install it here, I get this message: Error 1327 Invalid Drive: G: Please advise. It is on a networked server so I'd rather not delete the company from existence or anything. I'd definitely get done if I were to do that. (music makes me work much more efficiently obviously, as does this BBS)
RE: It's your Drive: G: Thanks 'Dirk Hartog 06' If that was an upgrade, I'd say last years version was definitely better.
RE: It's your Drive: G: not sure. You probably just need some screen wipes or something. Anyway you can B*ll*cks (without a capital 'b' and stars and stuff) it's a registry problem or something. Reading between the lines and using my techical know how, I think I have to give my PC 2 weeks notice before i-pod and windows can marry or something. I'm off to the registry office now!
RE: Which operating system is on your laptop? Windows XP on a small business server. I'm just doing a scan and that. Do sound out of my depth at all! excellent 146 problems found. Well I found 1 myself which is great. Now I have to purchase the scan thing to repair. I'm guessing I've downloaded herpes as well.
Please help if you can I'm in the middle of Southampton City Centre and my phone won't get a signal now. Is drive G the Orange Network at all?
Why do you need The ipod software on your works laptop? Can't you just listen to your ipod through the headphones? Radical as that may sound, it could work.
I can help ditch your faggoty iPod which is for girls only, and get yourself a proper music machine.

RE: Why do you need So I can download tunes and that kind of stuff. And it's new and I'm all excited and that.
Interesting I seem to recall y being on line not too long ago saying. "oooooh but I want an i-pod" whilst stamping your feet and crying. Mine was a gift for which I'm very and would like to just bung the software on my PC for ease of use. Anyway creative labs or whatever is for girls. I've seen a girl with one.
RE: Interesting That bird with the creative labs had bought it for her man-bloke.
If a bird bought me an iPod I'd chuck her. Then again I can afford to pick and choose. I appreciate you have to be a bit more careful. I now understand your enthusiasm.

RE: Interesting arse off AIRy. I've now downloaded 2 apparently 'free' registry repair packages. Found x million errors on my PC and then when I go to 'repair' I'm asked to subscribe. Cheeky gets. I want free stuff.
RE: fairy snuff Sorry Jay. I lost your serious answer amongst all the useful stuff! I have all the updates sorted.
