    that everyone's favourite regular thread 'PubteamUpdate' is to be mothballed.

    Due to the fact that we are now indeed a 'pub team' along with the rest of the teams in our league, thereev feels it is no longer appropriate. Maybe if we are pushing for promotion then a new feature column called 'potential championship team' could be launched. On the other hand I hope a regular thread named 'Mates Having a Kick about in the Park Team' is not required with us lunging towards league 2.

    Didn't you announce this a couple of weeks ago? I expect repetition of news in the off season from lesser news outlets (Chronicle, Mail, Guardian etc) but I think you should set your standards a bit higher.
