Look at the fixture list home games against Colchester ,Swansea , Southend and Chesterfield plus good results against Hudders,Oldham,Brentford,Doncaster and Chesterfield away we have the opportunity to get out of this league with another good run of results to boost morale.I pesonally prefer points in the bag and let other teams worry about catching us, sod the FACup it gets in the way look how Donny are suffering ,lets get back to the second division (sorry Championship)and we can start next season in the 3rd round.(blaze)
Thing is, if we don't get promoted a good cup run is some consolation & a money earner. I don't see it as an either or, let's start another winning streak!
Agreed in some sense but one more round after this and we could still draw a non stadium filling team meanwhile the fixtures are pilling up, more revenue will be created occupying a promotion place at home games than one more round in the cup.
