    it hurts..... a lot.... BUT if we got this far we could have gone down and with the sound of things the club is going to grow in the upcoming year i think we'll finish top half easy if we bring in some quality if the board and manager are serious about the club then we could have a season or two in the top flight coming our way in the next 10 years or so administration took us back in time in terms of progress and i think now we are just about back to where we always should be at least a decent 2nd division outfit we should steadily expand the club over time to avoid being like derby,stoke, hull etc

    I know what you mean mate, we knocked out two massive teams and came so close. Lets be honest we might never have that opportunity again.

    But fair play to the lads they did us proud!

    If we stopped up because we got knocked out, the way next season is shaping up is a good compensation for not being there.

    Should have been there today -the thought of every Barnsley fan ,What we have gained is renewed respect from other football clubs ,a fear factor when they visit Oakwell next season.
    Confidence in the players that if we Beat liverpool and Chelsea who have we got to fear,this could be our promotion season.
    a couple of prolific goalscorers and can we top last season ,gagging for it.
