how the midfield began to tick again when he came on. When he was running at them & holding the ball up, our midfielder's were able to support & get into dangerous areas. He must now be given a start.
Him and Wright... Proved an effective partnership today - hopefully Ritchie will continue to play 'em both...
He runs like bambi, he's got an arse like John Hendrie, offside too often... ... but he's the best fecking stiker in the club by a mile. When he's on the pitch he makes things happen. Mark Richards runs his guts out for the cause but the miss at the end of the first half sums up the difference between him and Nads. For the third goal Nads was dancing around in their box and none of their defenders dare touch him. He could be the 'John Hendrie' for this gereration.</p>
he was class when he came on did more than richards did in 60. seem to remember a certain andy payton and craig hignett strolling around the pitch for large parts of matches. goals win games.
You're avin a larf aren'yt you... The miss near the ensd of the first half does not sum up the difference between Nads & Ritchards. Nads, knows what positions to get into, he anticipates things much better. If Richie doesn't get into feet or close in to him, he's usually nowhere near the ball. How many times do defenders come from behind him & take the ball. Robert Page of Coventry did it endless times last week & he's an old man at that.
Good strong bench today (well managed by Andy) Arguably, Nads took advantage of tiring defenders. This is what has been happening to us over the last few games. The opposition has been making substitutions that have affected the outcome. Nice to see us doing that today. Good strong bench today where all the subs did well (I think AR went for and extra outfield player rather than a goalie). That first half (in which both teams were pretty poor) is all forgotten now. There seemd to be quite a bit of jeering at the interval from the reds fans - who were probably fearing the worst.
