Erm...Greetings here from Ipswich. Was just here to gather opinions on O'Grady, as we have been linked via Twitter and 'official' sources more than once now. Therefore i thought i would ask for opinions from you guys. From what i know/have seen of him in the past he looks decent at holding the ball up and is a hard worker, as well as getting a few goals in a not great team (no offence guys) He sounds about halfway in between what we already have in Murphy and McGoldrick. A Wednesday friend of mine is a fan and tells me they never should have let him go to you last summer, but what are your opinions? Feel free to post here or on TWTD And Please do Colchester over twice next season
If he plays in a team that encourages him to loiter in the opposition penalty box and get crosses and service to him, rather than stuck on the left ******* wing, and if he is partnered with someone more mobile then definitely Champ standard striker. If you play him up top by himself, and get no other players near him, or let him get chalk on his boots, then waste of time.
For a Barnsley lad, McCarthy has a track record of nicking our players on the cheap done us over several times in the transfer market, so no surprise he's sniffing a bargain given our demise. Im hoping our ex agent Chief Exec sticks it to him this time pal, so I wouldnt get excited just yet. He's a big mobile target man type who chips in with goals ie on the shopping list of most Championship managers, so bring on the auction....
Good move all round I disagree. Good move for us? No because we'd be losing our main goal scorer. Going to a decent club? What at over 30 quid a game and around 100 million in debt. Decent manager? At stealing our better players on the cheap he is.
I think he's going judging by the comments last week. We just need to get the best deal for BFC now. Sent from my D5503 using Tapatalk
