Absolutly Fantastic
All the home stands sold out
My lad and a guy I know couldn't get in and they say there were hundreds if not thousands outside the ground trying to get in
In the West Stand where I sit alot of fans jumped over the turnstiles, there were loads of fans stood in the main aisle at the back
Its a pity we didn't win because I think the roof would have come off with the amount of noise.
But still a fantastic atmosphere, especially when the Leeds result came in

Tha missed it Gord !!!

Yes a real shame - I sit in the West Stand and get a bit hacked off when the other half is full of opposition supporters. To have it full of our fans singing their hearts out was absolutely brilliant.

Just as usual we screwed it up - first half performance abysmal - bit better second - for once I dont really care though

Just shows what reducing the ticket price can do when the big games come along. Not only was it a good atmosphere but in the end it has worked so well that the club will be quids in too. I am a ST holder so dont benefit but if we get that sort of attendance everytime then the club should do it more.

I too am a season ticket holder, it wouldn't bother me if they let the fans in for nowt. The atmosphere was electric, just like the premiership days. Unfortunately massive support was let down by the teams performance as usual. Why do they do this? Still we stopped up. (doh)

It would be interesting to see what thetake-up would be if they priced season tickets to reflect yesterday's prices. If a ST worked out a tenner a game, could they double the numbers?? I'd buy one for sure and get to maybe 2/3 games a season!! It would be a very brave but potentially profitable venture - same revenue from ticket sales, much bigger gates and more shirts/pies/ale sold.

It was 12 quid a game with a ST for the Ponte End this season.

I missed a few games and still saved on Match Day prices.

That didnt attract the fans though.

We need more of these "one off" price reductions.

there wasnt enough flexibility this season though

in payment options. lots of people could probably afford 10 quid a week but not all upfront in one go

Okay, fair do's - didn't know that. Still be interesting to see a club launch something similar though.

I agree,

Season ticket prices should be announced now , and people should be able to pay as much or as little as they want up until Kick-Off as long as they have paid for the ST by kick off time.

My issue is match day tickets are way too high.

you get 10 or 11 "free games" if you buy a ST , this utterly ridiculous , the prices should be dropped accordingly , and you should get 3 or 4 max "free games".

RE: I agree,

I think that they should be able to pay over the course of the season too whereby they enter into a watertight contract where they pay by direct debit over the course of the season. The club doesnt get its money upfront (so it costs the fan an extra £2 a game or something) but they do know that the money is coming in.

Just shows if you lower the admin prices what a full house is great to see,why can't the club have a standing order/debit scheme for you to purchase a season tickets they used to where you could pay in installment's then this option stopped???????would be a lot better than paying upfront in one go.

Surely in this modern high tech world of today there are more easier options.
