Get shut of lot and start again, when we go down we can have a clear out, there not good enough at this level, lower league players punching above their weight, we need a fresh start, we're trying to compete in championship with a decent league one wage budget. Comments such as the above have started to appear over the last month or so, But what i can't get my head round is this, why do all the negative b'astards on this forum continue to tell us we're going down because all our players are league one standard, then in the next breath insist we have a clear out, surely if we go down we need to keep as many players as possible, because when we're in league one the only players we'll be able to afford will be league two and below. surely if we already have the players for league one we keep them don't we?, or do you honestly believe our squads not even good enough for league one

If we get rid of, say, Dawson we will be looking at another player from League One. Or a short term loan without the liability of a long term contract. Which is what everyone has said they don't want. Wilson needs to concentrate on off-loading 3 or 4 of those who are unlikely to feature at all and use the cumulative saving to bring in one genuine quality midfielder. Players like Dawson will play a part this season. It's fantasy to think we can get rid of half the starting XI and bring in a better quality of player within our budget.

They dropped lucky with Butterfield and Stones, the development had been done was the argument. Although that was mostly under Hill, has Flicker done anything with young players while manager?
