    In the short term ...

He has to put another player in the midfield.

You can criticise the fullbacks, but we don't have any sort of control on the game.

    it shouldn't do though considering...

we are playing with 2 wingers. our wingers should be counteracting that.

Where does that extra midfielder come from though? You surely cant suggest shifting to a 4-5-1 formation? At the end of the day its 11 v 11 and I reckon 442 v 442. Their wingers are getting so much room, for me the full-backs are at fault and have been all season. Reid should not be playing. Hassell and kay should be our centre-half pairing IMO.

exactly. its not the full backs, its the wingers! McD and MD do NOT defend, and can't

    In theory yes,

you are right. But it doesnt work like that. So Devaney may help out hassell, their winger then lays the ball back to his full back who is now in space having been left by Devaney. He then gets a free cross. Hecky, Williams, Hassell and Austin have all been caught out at full-back this season - sadly lacking in quality.</p>

our wingers work hard & track back.. its the system we play that doesn't work

perhaps we ought to go with one winger I don't know/ I wouldn't blame the wingers though.
