I think I'm still more of a large after the Christmas holidays!

Only thing that fits me after Christmas is a tent :D

It's a good thing I have 9 months until my next charity run!

I'll be running another half marathon in June, so I should probably start thinking about preparing for it some time soon. But with -20 degrees and all that snow I haven't felt like running lately... [insert a penguin joke here] :)

It was down at -14 here last week, but now it's warmed up again to something slightly less ridiculous. My only excuse/reason for not running at the moment is laziness :)

I remember Karneval nights in the Mess at RAF Rheindahlen. Everyone in fancy dress and drinking to excess until well past midnight when the Moenchengladbach Karneval King and Queen would eventually roll up in their fantastic costumes. It was only then that we were allowed to eat. Ludicrous really - several hours of drinking time passed before you could get at the buffet. I'm not a drinker but did my best to keep up with the others on my table.

Great memories of Germany. Wonderful three years there and Karneval was a highlight.

Woah. Is the price higher than usual because it's a special shirt, or are they all that expensive in Germany? Not that they're particularly cheap anywhere, but 90€ sounds a bit much...

The normal shirt is 70€ which is about average price in Germany. I paid 85€ for my Germany shirt.

You can't complain too much when you're paying 10€ per game though :D

    True that.

Do you see a lot of English club shirts (or scarves or whatever) in Germany? Do you get funny looks if you ever wear your Barnsley shirt over there?

I don't think I've actually seen any English shirts over here to be honest! Nobody seems to notice the BFC badge, but all my colleagues look out for our results and it's always the first thing they talk to me about... I'm actually looking forward to going in tomorrow!
